About Ms. Dash

I have been employed with the NYC DOE since 2007. I began my career as a School Aide and a Community Associate and then I moved on to become Parent Coordinator. I've been the Parent Coordinator at P.S. 93 since 2015. My passions include community service, dancing, music, reading and DIY crafts. In my position I work closely with our school families and the community. I consistently offer valuable parent/family workshops, ensure open productive communication occurs, assist families with resolving conflicts, provide teaching tools and techniques to enhance communication, and monitor parent engagement efforts at P.S. 93. As a Parent Coordinator I also work closely with our administrative team, the SLT, the PTA and all networks aligned to the school. These collaborations are key components to ensure that our parents are involved in all aspects of the school’s initiatives as well as provide supportive resources for our all families and scholars.

We are proud to partner with LEAP to offer enriching Family Engagement Activities that bring students, caregivers, and our school community together through creativity, connection, and joyful learning. Through hands‑on workshops and interactive experiences, families have the opportunity to explore the arts, build new skills, and share meaningful moments of collaboration.

Families and caregivers connected through joyful movement, expression, and wellness.

These activities like these help strengthen our home–school partnership while nurturing creativity, confidence, and community spirit. We look forward to continuing this exciting work with our LEAP partners and our wonderful families!

Annual Family Conference on April 22 from 10 AM-12 PM at Fordham University

We are excited to share that the Office of Multilingual Learners (OML) will host its annual Family Conference on April 22 from 10 AM-12 PM at Fordham University. This event is a joyful opportunity to celebrate multilingualism and culture while connecting families to valuable school- and community-based resources.

The conference will include engaging workshops, community resource tables, cultural celebrations, and family-friendly activities. There will be food, fun, and meaningful opportunities for families to build connections and access information that supports their children’s success.
